Charlotte based Headlines Barber Shop is partnering with Legal Services of Southern Piedmont (LSSP) to provide on-site assistance for individuals signing up for health insurance through the Affordable Healthcare Act also known as “ObamaCare”.  Open enrollment starts November 15,^, 2014 and runs through February 15,^, 2015.  On Fridays, during the enrollment period, there will be an LSSP representative stationed at Headlines Barber Shop of 5309 E. Independence Blvd.  Free one on one appointments can be made by calling 855-733-3711 during open enrollment.   Headlines Barber Shop owner, Derrick Bennett, thought it was important to have this service available because “Everyone needs health insurance.  A lot of people have questions about it and want to sign up, but don’t know where to start.  I wanted to be able to provide this service in a place that people are comfortable going.“
