Let freedom ring! The best way to spend the nation’s Independence Day is at Carowinds, where the Carolinas and the country come together. Our holiday celebration is bursting with star-spangled entertainment, including a tribute to honor our military men and women and a jaw-dropping fireworks show.

Carowinds will grant FREE park admission Monday, July 3 through Wednesday, July 5 to all active, inactive and retired military personnel with a valid military ID. It’s our way of saying thank you during our Military Days event.

Also, as part of our fourth festivities, guests can experience the Color Guard Presentation of Colors. Every heart will beat true for their red, white and blue routine. For a little all-American southern charm, guests can shuffle to top country hits alongside WSOC-FM 103.7.

After a day of toe tapping fun, roller coasters and finger-licking pork barbecue, guests can turn to the skies above the Carolinas as they come alive during the Celebrate America Fireworks Show at 9:30 p.m. Honor the nation’s independence as the fireworks’ red glare bursts in the air.
