The Carolina Panthers have placed defensive end Charles Johnson on injured reserve with a designation to return, the team announced Tuesday. Johnson suffered a hamstring injury in Week Three vs. New Orleans (9/27/15).
Under the designation to return, Johnson is eligible to return to practice on Nov. 10 at the earliest and can be returned to the active roster on Nov. 24 at the earliest. He would be eligible to play in Carolina’s Week 12 game at Dallas (11/26/15) on Thanksgiving Day if he has been added to the active roster by that date.
