Charlotte, NC, April 19, 2014: Approximately 800 members and friends of Ebenezer Baptist Church will participate in a Mission Blitz, an event that involves over 30 simultaneous mission projects throughout Mecklenburg and surrounding counties. For the past month, Pastor Leonzo D. Lynch encouraged the congregation to spread the love of Jesus outside the doors of the church to the underserved and unloved population of our area.
Some activities involve:
- Landscaping schools in Charlotte, Kannapolis, and Gastonia
- Serving breakfast at Urban Ministry Center
- Assembling snack bags and hygiene kits for A Child’s Place
- Providing a free hotdog lunch and a free yard sale at the church
- Collecting items for GATE Pregnancy
