The 3rd annual Charlotte Greek Picnic 2013 will kick-off Tuesday, September 3rd and continue through Saturday, September 7, 2013 with the actual picnic at Marshall Park.
The Charlotte Greek Picnic Planning Committee has recognized the endless possibilities to provide an experience that will centralize, revitalize and embrace all Greek-based fraternities and sororities in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
The Charlotte Greek Picnic has created an opportunity for the Greek Family and friends to Get Involved, Volunteer, and Experience (G.I.V.E.). This year’s community service initiative is partnering with Safe Alliance, an organization that provides a source of hope for women in need of sanctuary from abusive situations. This impactful experience will provide a new and meaningful experience for the entire Greek-based family in conjunction with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte – National Pan Hellenic Council (NPHC).
The Charlotte Greek Picnic invites all Greek-Lettered organizations, businesses/vendors, surrounding local communities and its members to participate in the Charlotte Greek Picnic 2013 weekend. Inclusive attendance at the picnic will undoubtedly promise to be an amazing affair.
The Charlotte Greek Picnic also fosters the perfect environment for collegiate and non-collegiate alike to gain hands-on professional experience and network (Make sure to join us on LinkedIn – Charlotte Greek Picnic). The Carolina’s most prominent and prestigious Greek based clientele will be assembled and showcased as liaisons and representatives referred to as Charlotte Greek Picnic Ambassadors.
