Approximately 600 members and friends of Ebenezer Baptist Church will participate in a Mission Blitz, an event that involves over 40 simultaneous mission projects throughout Mecklenburg and surrounding counties. For the past month, Pastor Leonzo D. Lynch encouraged the congregation to spread the love of Jesus outside the doors of the church to the underserved and unloved population of our area.

Some activities involve:

• Landscaping schools and a historic site
• Serving breakfast at several sites
• Assembling snack bags and hygiene kits for various agencies
• Hosting a block party for  neighbors surrounding the church
• Assisting in Easter Egg Hunts for approximately 1200 children
