Hornets Unveil “Enter The Swarm” Campaign For 2015-16 Season

The Charlotte Hornets have unveiled “Enter the Swarm” as the team’s theme and brand campaign for the 2015-16 season.  Produced internally by the organization’s marketing and creative departments, the tagline is intended to be both a rallying call for the fans and a window into the Hornets live game experience.  Enter the Swarm spans basketball to entertainment to passionate fandom, featuring incredible on-court moments, jaw-dropping plays and all the fun Hornets fans have throughout the course of a game at Time Warner Cable Arena.

“Enter the Swarm is our way of showing fans the excitement of experiencing a Hornets game at Time Warner Cable Arena and inviting them to join,” said Hornets Sports & Entertainment Executive Vice President and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer Pete Guelli.  “We believe this concept illustrates the variety of emotions and memories that can be created on a nightly basis when attending our games.”

The campaign tells stories of strong basketball competition and exhilarating fan experiences through images and video of Hornets players, fans and big moments that are designed to excite viewers and inspire them to attend a Hornets game at Time Warner Cable Arena.  Advertising elements include online digital activations, external digital billboards, television and radio spots, social media and email marketing.

Additionally, Enter the Swarm will come to life within Hornets games at Time Warner Cable Arena.  The theme will be incorporated into the team introduction, as well as other key moments throughout games.
