Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce Spring Date in Charlotte

As part of the additional spring dates on their 2017 North American Tour, it was announced today that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will play Charlotte’s Spectrum Center on April 17. The tour is in support of their 11th studio album, the worldwide No. 1 The Getaway.

Tickets for the April 17 Spectrum Center concert go on sale on Friday, Nov. 11 online at spectrumcentercharlotte.com and livenation.com, the Spectrum Center Box Office, via the Live Nation app, all Ticketmaster outlets or by phone at 800-745-3000. A fan club ticket pre-sale for the new shows launches on Nov. 9.

As previously announced, The Getaway Tour kicks off Jan. 5 in San Antonio, Texas and crisscrosses North America, ending in mid-March. The addition of the spring leg of the tour, which was announced today, begins April 12 in Washington, DC.

The Getaway debuted at #1 on the Billboard Album Sales Chart and at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 upon its release in June. The Getaway marks the Grammy Award-winning band’s seventh top 10 album and third #2 on the Top 200 Chart. The album debuted at #1 in Australia, Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands, and New Zealand and at #2 in the United Kingdom and Germany. The Getaway was produced by Danger Mouse and mixed by Nigel Godrich.
