Carolina Panthers Re-Sign Teddy Williams

The Carolina Panthers have re-signed unrestricted free agent cornerback Teddy Williams to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday.

Williams played in three games in 2016 before finishing the season on injured reserve with a knee injury. He recorded seven tackles, one pass defense and one interception. Williams joined the Panthers in 2015 and contributed 10 special teams tackles that season.

He entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with Dallas in 2010 and spent time with Dallas (2010-11), Indianapolis (2012), Arizona (2013), Chicago (2014) and Jacksonville (2014) before arriving in Carolina.
